I don’t even know what is wrong with me sef. I too dey provoke easily. Wetin dey do me sef.
I went for an event early this week of which i was instrumental to some guests being at the event. I saw a ‘good ‘ friend of mine from afar… I called her number the first time,she did not pick, i called the second time, she switched it off and i shook my head, of course she didn’t know, i was looking at her from the back seat where i was seated.
She was called on to give Good will message, she did. She was there when I was recognised and called to come and give my Goodwill message.
I did not even looked at her side as i mounted the podium, gave my speech, took pictures with some of the guests and left the event. I had hardly driven for 5 minutes when her call came in. I was seething with anger, I didn’t want to take the call but i thought better and picked at least to hear her out.
She was ranting about sending me an sms that she was at a function. I just told her not to worry, that i saw her from afar and only wanted to say hello. Das all. I was instrumental to her being invited as special guest…. I just said such is life . She’s human after all. i wouldn’t do that to anybody. Can you ?
